On Monday we travelled up to Exeter for the annual regional awards of the British Institute of Professional Photography. The evening was a fantastic opportunity to meet other photographers and a major surprise to me when I was awarded Advertising and Commercial Photographer of the 2010. The winning image was used to advertise local dance school The Big Dance Company of Danecr Ella Gilling. I also received three awards of excellence.
